15:11 minutes to resound just how fervently the sun beams and the soil nourishes, in
Johannesburg. The up and coming South African duo are at the helm of MoBlack Records’
395th release, hatching hand in hand, a fiery bombshell that can crash dancefloors without prior
introduction. Let into the front seat and right center of the pioneering Afro House label, the
striving young DJ/producers do many things but not disappoint, coalescing lyrics birthed from
the essence of a Zuluan mother’s nurturing - a lullaby, with propulsive tribal rhythms, lush
percussion. and an organic Afro techno touch. On B side, Croatian artist Andreas Horvat churns
his version of ‘Lyakhala. Adrift a driving bassline, the vigorous “New (re)Vision” teems with
vibrants soundscapes sporadically brushed with mesmeric electro modulations and coarse
synths that temper Lizwi’s croon - 8:23 minutes idyllically spent in harmonic motion.
