Mozambican rising star Giluuu joins the MoBlack assemblage, churning his single, “Voice of
Luna” into the Afro-house label’s extrusive repository. Born out of the Southeast African coast,
the fertile, sun-bathed soil of resource-rich Mozambique impels the young artist’s high powered
7:23 minute musical journey, conveyed through Luna’s poesy. Sentimental yet unrelenting,
MBR386 starts off bass-laden, immediately dauntless and robust, before cruising on a climactic
groove pedaled by the marriage of tactile instrumental soundscapes and electronic mecaniques.
Luna’s revelations are possibly dark in temper but unequivocally hopeful in reverb, an ideal
choreography pitched by emotion in the rhythm of lore, pregnant with narrative that is both
modern and ancient but always visionary.
